Biography

This is Dr Muhammad Tawfique, born on 20th June 1963, a Bangladeshi, graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 1988, did my post graduation MD, Pediatrics in 1988, and then MD in Pediatric Hematology & Oncology in 2005, left Government service in 2006, joined as Consultant of Pediatrics at Square Hospitals Ltd in December 2006 and then left the job after having a nice time there until September 2015, worked for a brief period in Asgar Ali Hospital as a consultant of Pediatrics. I joined as Associate Professor of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Square Hospital in February 2016 simultaneously remaining involved as a part-time Consultant of Pediatrics in my own hospital namely Bangladesh Specialized Hospital, Dhaka. Finally, I left Dhaka Shishu (Children) Hospital and joined as a full time consultant in Bangladesh Specialized Hospital from January 2019. This is a 250 bed hospital where we have all the specialties and support for the patients in this hospital I am working now.

Research Interest

My work of interest obviously is Pediatrics as well as Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. I have number of research papers, publications and presentations on my interests. Finally, I visited japan in last October to participate in the congress of Society for International Oncology of Pediatrics in Kyoto a lovely blooming city where I enjoyed so much.
